Dedicated support infrastructure for cooperative game studios across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. Governance education, peer mentorship, and Prairie-specific resources to build sustainable, worker-owned businesses.

What the Hub Does

Cooperative Foundations is a 10-week program of structured workshops, weekly studio mentorship from experienced cooperative founders, and community events for Prairie-based game studios. Studios enter without shared governance language or structures and leave with the foundations to build lasting, equitable working relationships.

Prairie-specific content covers provincial tax incentives, cooperative legislation across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, incorporation pathways, and regional funding.

The Hub serves early-stage game studios based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or Alberta with 2–7 members, led by founders from equity-deserving communities, at or before the stage of legal incorporation.
